UFC 110 Fight Predictions

ufc-110-posterUFC 110 – The UFC goes down under

This weekend the UFC will take their fight show down under to Sydney Australia. Check below for the UFC 110 Betting odds. The card features a heavyweight contender’s matchup between Minotauro Nogueira and Cain Velasquez. Both fighters are coming off big wins over tough opponents; Big Nog fought UFC legend Randy Couture to a 3 round unanimous victory and Cain Velasquez destroyed Big Ben Rothwell to earn his spot in the contenders match.

The co-main event features two fighters going in different directions; Michael “The Count” Bisping will take on the Axe Murderer Wanderlei Silva. Bisping has won four of his last five, while Silva has lost five of his past six. Despite the losses Silva can still entertain and knockout an opponent with his vicious Chute Boxe style. Bisping had been on a roll until getting KTFO by Dan Henderson at UFC 100 but “the Count” returned to the cage to end the UFC dreams of Dennis Kang.

Here is the UFC 110 Odds.

Main Card
Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira -110
Cain Velasquez -120
Heavyweight 3 rounds
Nogueira is a crafty veteran but I like the young bull Cain Velasquez in this matchup. He’s big, he’s powerful and Big Nog won’t push him around. UFC 110 Predictions: Cain Velasquez

Wanderlei Silva -145
Michael Bisping +115
Middleweight 3 rounds
Wanderlei Silva has become a Who reunion show, sure you get to see a legend but he’s well past his prime and you will walk away feeling cheated you weren’t there a decade earlier. Silva sells tickets but he doesn’t win fights. UFC 110 Predictions: Michael Bisping

Joe Stevenson -260
George Sotiropoulos +200
Lightweight 3 rounds
George Sotiropoulos is on the main card to represent Australia; unfortunately, he won’t do a very good job. Joe Daddy will have his way with Sotiropoulos; this fight won’t go the distance. UFC 110 Predictions: Joe “Daddy” Stevenson

Ryan Bader -160
Keith Jardine +130
Light Heavyweight 3 rounds – Acer Arena – Sydney, New South Wales, Australia
Ryan Bader is big he’s strong and he’s shown he can knock out his opponents but the Dean of Mean is a crafty veteran that will come at Bader with an awkward style the young wrestler hasn’t seen. Jardine takes the victory here and Bader will learn a valuable lesson. UFC 110 Predictions: Keith Jardine

Mirko Cro Cop -145
Ben Rothwell +115
Cro-Cop has been a huge disappointment since joining the UFC, he’s lost every big fight he’s been in, and he’s even lost a few of the fights he was supposed to dominate. Lately it looks like he’s fighting in quicksand, luckily for him Ben Rothwell is a big slow fighter and he could be just what Cro-Cop needs to get a nice victory under his belt. UFC 110 Prediction: Mirko Cro-cop
