The Best Scores App

Score Mobile
Canada has always had a more liberal attitude towards sports betting and with the provincial lotteries all offering sports betting, it allows the media to be more open about their sports betting discussions.
Case in point, Score Media is the owner of Canada’s only independent sports channel called “The Score” as well as the Sirius Satellite Radio Stations “Hardcore Sports Radio” channel 98. I say independent because the other two sports broadcasters, TSN and Sportsnet are owned conglomerates. TSN is owned by CTV in partnership with ESPN. Rogers Media Corp who own of the Toronto Blue Jays owns Sportsnet.
The Score is looked at as the stepchild sports channel in Canada but this outsider channel should be a gamblers favorite option. The Channel in runs highlights for most of the day with a constant sports scroll below, the difference between The Score Ticker and others is the Score lists the betting odds on all the games.
This is great, especially if you are away from your computer or if you are just watching some highlights, you can check the lines and watch for movement from the comfort of your couch.
Their acceptance of gambling at the Score has had an effect on their programming choices; one of the most popular shows on the station is Red Heat. Red Heat is a video simulcast of the Radio program of the same name on the Hardcore Sports Radio channel, the show is basically a couple of Gamblers talking about their best picks for the nights action. They solicit callers and give gamblers the opportunity to call in with their best bets. Unlike other touts, these guys are genuinely betting their picks and it’s all free.
If you have an iPhone, Blackberry or Droid, the Score has the best app for checking scores, odds and most recently begun showing highlights through their Score Mobile App. Download it, serious I haven’t considered another score checker app since first trying the program.
If you have other gambling apps for your iPhone, Blackberry or Droid we’d love to hear about them as the NFL season draws closer, we want to be prepared.
