With the Pro-Bowl coming a week before the Super Bowl, the hangover seemed a little bit worse today. No football until August and nothing to get excited about until the NFL draft. Let’s wrap up our daily football conversation with a few pieces of news from Super Bowl XLIV and then we’ll move on to basketball and baseball for the next few months.

Orange, which broke a streak of three consecutive years of clear or water being dumped over the coaches head.

Will The Who smash a guitar on stage during the halftime show?
No paid out -180, he’s getting old and the Super Bowl halftimes are lame.

How many times will Pete Townshend do his “windmill” move? Over/Under 6
Way over, I think it’s the only move the old guy has left.

Who will the Super Bowl MVP “thank” first?
For the second year in a row, the MVP didn’t say thanks to anyone…jerks.

Um you can’t say that on TV
We all know the set up, Disney corp. pays several athletes to answer the question, “What are you gonna do now?” I don’t think Mickey was expecting the Goofy answer from Saints Guard Carl Nicks when he answered live into a mic “I’m going to muthafukkin Disneyland”…maybe he meant California Adventure.

 This kid was videotaping a waitress or something when Tracey Porter intercepted Peyton Manning’s pass late in the fourth quarter all but locking up the Super Bowl for the Saints. They’re pretty excited.
