Ray Guy Must Be Proud

During Friday night’s Dallas Cowboys Tennessee Titans game, Titans backup punter A.J. Trapasso launched a high punt that ricocheted off the shiny new scoreboard. The legendary Ray Guy must be proud.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones didn’t seem phased by the multi-million dollar screw up “I’m not worried about it,” Jones said. “I’m very comfortable that our height on our scoreboard is OK.” Coach Jeff fisher, member of the NFL’s competition committee felt a little differently “It is an issue, Something has to get worked out.”
Jones’s apathy towards the scoreboard problem becomes even more puzzling when initial estimates to raise it enough to give the big legged punters room to work would only cost $2,000,000. To put that in perspective that’s the signing bonus for a 2nd or 3rd round draft pick.

Will the NFL competition force the Cowboys to make the changes require or will Jerry Jones stand pat with his low rider TV. I’m sure some online sportsbook will post a prop bet.
