Pro Athletes Got Talent
Now that America’s got talent is down to the finalists it got me thinking about some of that absolutely AWESOME off the field performances by some of our favorite sports stars.
Ok some athletes have actually been kind of sort good, Boxing Legend Oscar De La Hoya was nominated for a Grammy, it’s in Spanish so I don’t know what he’s saying. But I’m guessing it’s about a girl, love and how sexually ambiguous a boxer can look in guyliner and a tight sweater.

Next up Ron Artest, we have a man that’s so dedicated to his music that in 2004 he asked the Pacers for some time off to promote his new album due out n November 24th. Coach Rick Carlise denied the request first because it was a ridiculous request and second because the Pacers had a big game against the Pistons November 19th 2004.

Looking back it might have been best to give him the time off.
And the absolute best and I mean best because it makes me laugh my ass off is Carl Lewis singing “Break it Up”
The video is full of 80′s cheese, including biker shorts, big hair and the requisite elderly lady acting like a sex kitten, thank you Pepsi Cola and the Golden Girls for giving us that disturbing 80′s phenomena. The audio production deserves a gold medal of their own for making Lewis sound like this…
