Pacman Jones is Dumb

The Pac Man Jones in the CFL experiment is over before it began. Today the Winnipeg Blue Bombers decided not to bring in the flamboyant rainmaker after Pac Man appeared on the popular U-Stream live video chat. During the Chat Pac Man called the CFL, the UFL and pretty much said he was gone the moment an NFL contract was available. Dumb. U Stream pulled the video before I could link it but TSN has a small clip and actually, it is probably better than watching a 44-minute Pacman ramble.

I have to admit I love it when we get a chance to see athletes uncensored because unless they are Jalen Rose or Steve Nash there is a good chance they will say something stupid.

Here are some of my favorites
Michael Jordan after visiting Paris “I enjoyed the Luge”
Jerry Rice after being asked if he was the best receiver in football “I feel like I’m the best, but you’re not going to get me to say that.”
Ron Artest talking about something, “Having a record company and putting out my own CD. There’s clothes and shoes. There’s also an upcoming book deal that I’m trying to do. I’m trying to be positive. I’m a big fan of the Nobel Peace Prize.”
Perennial team player Terrell Owens ““Don’t say I don’t get along with my teammates. I just don’t get along with some of the guys on the team.”

Of course some athletes like Shaq and the previously mention Jalen Rose come out with some classics.

Shaq on winning “If you go 72-11 and don’t win (the championship), it doesn’t mean anything. Actually it does. It means you’ve cheated and played an extra regular-season game.”

Shaq on Free Throws “If I was able to have the game I have and shoot 80% from the line, I’d probably be an arrogant person rather than a humble one. Everything happens for a reason.”

Talking about money “I’m tired of hearing about money, money, money, money, money. I just want to play the game, drink Pepsi, wear Reebok.”

My favorite has to be Jalen Rose, he’s the black Yogi Berra so I’m giving you my top five J-Rose quotes.

5. After a young LeBron put up 56 of the Raptor “Like I told the guys earlier, once he turns 21 and is able to drink, it’s over.”

4. More Detroit “I’ve got to stop this. My entourages are getting entourages.”
