NFL Week 12 Power Rankings
1. New Orleans Saints 10-0-0 Still number 1 but that could change after Monday’s meeting with the Patriots.
2. Indianapolis Colts 10-0-0 Another close one for the Colts but the toughest part of the schedule is over.
3. Minnesota Vikings 9-1-0 Brett Favre is looking very MVPish, 22 TDs and only 3 INTs
4. New England Patriots 7-3-0 I like them to knock off the Saints, the loss to the Colts has them focused.
5. San Diego Chargers 7-3-0 They finally took control of the AFC West, I don’t think they are giving it up.
6. Cincinnati Bengals 7-3-0 Andre Caldwell won’t sleep this week. It was a bad loss to a bad team.
7. Arizona Cardinals 7-3-0 They are a perfect 5-0 on the road. Lienart could see some action if Warner has a concussion.
8. Dallas Cowboys 7-3-0 The offense looked horrible but they got away with one this week.
9. Pittsburgh Steelers 6-4-0 If Ben’s concussion is a bad one, we could see Dennis Dixon starting as Charlie Batch is out for 6 weeks.
10. Philadelphia Eagles 6-4-0 The kids are alright, DeSean Jackson and LeSean McCoy are ready to carry the Eagles offense.
11. Jacksonville Jaguars 6-4-0 The young Jags are sitting in a Wild Card spot, it will be a fun run to the finish.
12. Green Bay Packers 6-4-0 The win was costly as the Packers lost Al Harris and Aaron Kampman for the season.
13. New York Giants 6-4-0 The Giants will be happy to see December, Tom Coughlin’s boys are traditionally under achievers in November.
14. Baltimore Ravens 5-5-0 They need to shake off this loss and prepare for the Steelers.
15. Denver Broncos 6-4-0 Look out below, the Broncos were a nice first half story.
16. Atlanta Falcons 5-5-0 They missed Michael Turner this week, now they are in danger of missing the playoffs.
17. Miami Dolphins 5-5-0 After a 0-3 Start the Dolphins have gone
5-2 to even things out. They need to go 5-1 over the final 6 for a chance at a wildcard spot.
18. Tennessee Titans 4-6-0 Vince Young and the Titans better enjoy this win as the Cardinals and Colts are up next.
19. Houston Texans 5-5-0 Missing last second game tying kicks in consecutive weeks has broken better kickers. Kris Brown could be looking for a new job soon.
20. Carolina Panthers 4-6-0 With the Patriots and the Vikings on the schedule, running the table for a wild card spots is out of the question.
21. New York Jets 4-6-0 Mark Sanchez is going through the typical rookie growing pains. He’s on pace for 25 INTs this season.
22. Chicago Bears 4-6-0 Cutler was good but just not good enough.
23. San Francisco 49ers 4-6-0 Vernon Davis has been a huge positive in an otherwise disappointing season.
24. Buffalo Bills 3-7-0 Before you go gaga over TO’s big day, he was going against a backup cornerback.
25. Seattle Seahawks 3-7-0 “As of now, it doesn’t look like I made the best decision,” Houshmandzadeh said about bypassing the Vikings to sign with the Seahawks.
26. Washington Redskins 3-7-0 A bad offense gets worse as RB Ladell Betts and OL Chad Rinehart are lost for the season.
27. Kansas City Chiefs 3-7-0 Back to back wins is nice but beating the Super Bowl Champs has to be a huge confidence boost for the Chiefs.
28. Oakland Raiders 3-6-0 They are 10-0 versus the Bengals in Oakland.
29. Detroit Lions 2-8-0 It’s a short week for the Lions, Happy Thanksgiving.
30. Tampa Bay Buccaneers 1-9-0 Did we expect any other result? I think they have 1 more win in them this season.
31. St. Louis Rams 1-9-0 Only the Raiders have scored fewer points.
32. Cleveland Browns 1-9-0 Brady Quinn doubled his career TD totals in one game.
