NFL Power Rankings Week 9

Saints Cheer1. New Orleans Saints 7-0-0 No one can win a shootout with the Saints. The Saints defense is coming through with timely turnovers and the offense is unmatached.

2. Indianapolis Colts 7-0-0 The Colts find ways to win games they shouldn’t. Manning couldn’t connect in the endzone but an Addai option pass secured the win. A Colts-Saints Super Bowl is looking very sexy right now.

3. Minnesota Vikings 7-1-0 The Vikings are getting it done on offense, defense and special teams. Percy Harvin is playing like a seasoned vet and is definitely the frontrunner for Rookie of the year.

4. Denver Broncos 6-1-0
It’s been said that championship teams need to lose a tough one to make them strongers. The Broncos will need to be stronger next week against the Steelers

5. Pittsburgh Steelers 5-2-0 Did the Ravens draw a blueprint of how to beat Denver, we’ll find out Monday night.

6. New England Patriots 5-2-0 I hope the Patriots are rested after their bye week. In their next 5 games they play Miami twice, the Colts, the Jets and the explosive New Orleans Saints. Welcome back boys.

7. Cincinnati Bengals 5-2-0 The Bye week came at a perfect time. Their next two games are versus the

8. Philadelphia Eagles 5-2-0 It’s hard to believe this is the same team that lost to the Oakland Raiders two weeks ago.

9. Dallas Cowboys 5-2-0 Romo has not thrown an interception in 3 games, the Cowboys have won the last three games.

10. Baltimore Ravens 4-3-0
No contender needed a win more than the Ravens did this weekend. They got it done and looked very good doing it.

11. Atlanta Falcons 4-3-0 They held on against the Saints but some late game turnovers cost them Monday night. Matt Ryan will learn.

12. New York Giants 5-3-0
The Giants are losers of three straight, too many mistakes are being made on both sides of the ball.

13. Miami Dolphins 3-4-0
The stat to remember as the Dolphins face the Patriots this weekend is Miami is 3-0 versus the AFC East but 0-4 against everyone else.

14. San Francisco 49ers 3-4-0
They didn’t win but they didn’t let Peyton Manning throw a TD pass against them.

15. Chicago Bears 4-3-0
Matt Forte had a big game and it resulted in a blowout for the Bears. I will concede they were playing the Browns.

16. Houston Texans 5-3-0
Three straight wins but the lose of tight end Owen Daniels will be felt when the Texans play the Colts this week.

17. Green Bay Packers 4-3-0
Too many sacks

18. San Diego Chargers 4-3-0
Stat to remember, SD is 4-0 versus teams with losing records and 0-3 versus teams with winning records.

19. New York Jets 4-4-0
Coaches have bad games too.

20. Arizona Cardinals 4-3-0
5 interceptions will not going to get it done against any team.

21. Carolina Panthers 3-4-0
No Delhomme turnovers and a ton of rushing yards from DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart. The Panthers can have a nice turnaround if they stick to this formula.

22. Buffalo Bills 3-5-0
The offense continues to stink but the defense will keep them in most games this season.

23. Jacksonville Jaguars 3-4-0
They lost to the best winless team in the league but they lost to a winless team. The up and down jags season continues.

24. Seattle Seahawks 2-5-0
The team never gives up even as the losses and hospital bill pile up.

25. Tennessee Titans 1-6-0
Vince proved he deserves a second chance, Chris Johnson proved he is a beast.

26. Oakland Raiders 2-6-0
Tom Cable is providing the storyline to the latest Oakland Raiders embarrassing sides show.

27. Washington Redskins 2-5-0
A Redskins free Sunday is a good Sunday.

28. Kansas City Chiefs 1-6-0
LJ’s suspension is the first step in moving him out the door, don’t be surprised if he gets a full release.

29. St. Louis Rams  1-6-0
Rams win! Rams win! Rams win! Meh…

30. Detroit Lions 1-6-0
The Lions showed some promise early in the season but boy have they reneged on that promise.

31. Cleveland Browns 1-7-0
Tom Brady had more passing TDs in a quarter than the Browns have had all year. Horrible just horrible.

32. Tampa Bay Buccaneers 0-7-0 The Spirit Of 76 is alive and well in the Tampa Bay Bucs, 1976.
