NFL Fantasy Football Hot or Not Week 4
HOT
- Cedric Benson – Benson will run over the Browns, Cedric is finally living up to the expectations he had coming out of college.
- Pierre Garcon – Garcon is quickly gaining Peyton Manning’s trust and when Manning trusts a receiver, you can bet said receiver will get plenty of targets.
- Lee Evans – This has less to do with Lee Evans being a hot play this week, rather it’s more to do with the disappointing play of Terrell Owens. The Bills will be force to put that ball in the air against the Dolphins tough run defense. TO is not getting it done, Lee Evans will have to if the Bills stand a chance.
- Glenn Coffee – Frank Gore is out with an ankle sprain which means it’s Coffee time in San Francisco. The 49ers are playing the hapless Rams, which is great news for Glenn Coffee Owners.
- Johnny Knox – The Lions secondary is poor so if this week you can play all of your Bears receivers and if you are lucky enough to have Jay Cutler, you will enjoy a solid week.
NOT
- Fred Jackson – He’s been my guy for the first three weeks but the return of Marshawn Lynch will severely cut into Jackson’s carries. Moreover, the Dolphins have done a very good job at limiting Darren Sproles, Michael Turner and Joseph Addai in the first 3 weeks.
- Tom Brady – Last week I had to think whether to sit Tom Brady in favor of Kevin Kolb. That thought would never have crossed my mind any other year. Brady had a nice week against the Falcons but I don’t trust the Pats offence against the Ravens defense.
- Fred Taylor – Fred Taylor put on a renaissance performance last week but like Brady he won’t have the same success versus a tough Ravens team.
- Terrell Owens – He is not happy, he won’t say it, well he won’t say it directly but he’s not performing. I think his selfish ways have finally caught up with him.
- Jason Witten – The Broncos defense has shown what it can do. While they will be hard pressed to win against the Cowboys, they will be able to shut down Romo’s best weapon. This will force him to look elsewhere for yards.
