NFL Expert Free Picks Week 9

It’s anther week of big spreads and big mismatches in the NFL this week here are the Sportsbook Veteran NFL expert picks for week 9.

Jacksonville became the first victims of the Tennessee Titans this season but don’t expect them to play victim to the KC Chiefs. Maurice Jones-Drew should have a huge week against the Chiefs porous defense.

Baltimore Ravens -3 (EVEN)

Cincinnati Bengals +3 (-120)
Baltimore was a desperate team last week but was able to dominate the previously undefeated Broncos on both sides of the ball. The Bengals are coming off a bye week and will be well prepared for the challenge. I would normally make a play for the home dog here but I was so impressed with the Ravens I’m picking Baltimore.

Indianapolis Colts -9 (-105)
Peyton Manning failed to throw a TD pass in the Colts game versus the 49ers and the Colts still won. I don’t think Manning will have the same trouble this week against the Texans defense. Houston can put points on the board, which could turn this game into a shootout. I like the Over 48 in this game but I don’t think the Colts cover the 9 points.

The Redskins are a mess.

Tampa Bay is well on their way to 0-16, I don’t see one game on their schedule that they can win. Green Bay will light them up.

Chicago Bears -3 (+105)
The Cardinals haven’t lost on the road and the Bears are perfect at home, something has to give when these two teams faceoff. Both quarterbacks are susceptible to interceptions so this game could come down to who can take away the ball more. I like the over in this game but picking a team isn’t so easy.

New England’s offense has exploded in their past two week but those games were against the Titans and the Buccaneers. Miami is a little tougher and are currently undefeated in the AFC East. I think the Pats win this game but the Dolphins are a good bet to cover the spread.

The Saints defense has come through with big plays and take aways this season. The Panthers have given the ball away too many times and I see that trend continuing this game. The Saints win large.

Detroit showed some promise with a couple of close losses to much better teams earlier this season but with Calvin Johnson and Matt Stafford injured the Lions aren’t any better than last year’s 0-16 team.

Chris Johnson is a beast but Mike Singletary will have the 49ers ready for him. It will be interesting to see if the 49ers can exploit the Titans poor cornerback situation. The 49ers should win a close one but not cover the spread.

The Chargers are perfect against teams with losing records, the Giants are losers of three straight. Both teams need a win badly. Look for Philip Rivers to have a big game in the 2004 draft revenge game.

A win over the Steelers will vault the Broncos into the elite of the NFL. They have been underdogs in all but two of their games this season and it’s no different against the Steelers. The Ravens exposed the flaws in the Broncos last week and you can be assured Pittsburgh coach Mike Tomlin took notes. I love what the Broncos have done this season but my head screams Steelers.
