NBA Trade Deadline deals of the Day

ajamison

The NBA trade deadline isn’t until tomorrow but the action was intense today with several deals going down with some big names moving and some even bigger names staying put. Here is the rundown of a crazy Wednesday of NBA trades. Something tells me I’ve been following this stuff too closely because I can spell Wojnarowski without looking it up.

Tracy McGrady is going to the Kings

The Sacramento Kings have reached an agreement with the Houston Rockets on a trade that will swap Kevin Martin for Tracy McGrady

Along with Martin, the Kings will send Sergio Rodridguez, Hilton Armstrong and Kenny Thomas to the Rockets. Joey Dorsey and Carl Landry will go to the Kings.

Antawn Jamison is free from the Wizards

The Cleveland Cavaliers acquired Antawn Jamison; Jamison goes to Cleveland from the Washington Wizards in a three-team trade that sent Drew Gooden to the Los Angeles Clippers.

Washington received Cavaliers center Zydrunas Ilgauskas, a 2010 first-round draft pick and the rights to Cleveland’s 2nd round pick in 2009, Emir Preldzic.

The Wizards also received forward Al Thornton from Los Angeles.

Cleveland gets guard Sebastian Telfair from the Clippers.

The Bulls and Bucks exchange a couple

Chicago sends John Salmons to the Bucks for Kurt Thomas and Francisco Elson

Donald Sterling is a cheap man
Blazers send Steve Blake, Travis Outlaw and cash to Clippers for Marcus Camby.

Nate is going to be dunking for the Celtics
The deal isn’t final but Nate Robinson will be going to Boston in exchange for Eddie House and some cap fodder.

No Move for Amar’e Yet
Amar’e hasn’t been traded and with less than 18 hours until the deadline and potential destinations dropping out, there is a very good chance he will remain in Phoenix.
