MLB Spring Training – World Series Odds

gagne-727840Spring Training Officially begins
Spring training doesn’t officially begin until tomorrow but we already have some news from around the diamond.

Manny Ramirez has said his days as a Los Angeles Dodger are almost up, “I know I’m not going to be here next year.” He wouldn’t elaborate on it much further “I don’t know,” he said. “I just know I’m not going to be here.” It’s a day before spring training and we already have our first case of Manny being Manny.

Hank Aaron has commended Mark McGwire for admitting he was a juice up steroid homerun hitting monster. Aaron “I would have loved to have seen him do it a long time ago, but since he did it, I think that he himself will tell you right now he’s able to sleep at night and he’s able to look at his teammates,” Aaron said. “He’s done everything that he can do.” I think Aaron is holding out for a certain all-time homerun record holder to come forward and admit he used steroids. Mr. Bonds we’re looking in your direction.

Speaking of the Dodgers and Steroids (see how it all ties together), Eric Gagne has admitted to using HGH “I’m so ashamed. It wasn’t smart,” said Gagne. “If I knew what I know now… I didn’t need it. I regret it so much, just now maybe getting over the guilt. It was stupid.” Gagne will have six weeks to prove he can be a valuable addition to the Los Angeles Dodgers bullpen. How the mighty have fallen, but like every spring there is a chance for redemption.
