Fantasy Football Hot or Not Week 2

KC ChiefsWelcome to our week 2 installment of NFL Fantasy Football Hot or Not. Our Sportsbook Veteran fantasy experts give you their Hot fantasy football players and their Not fantasy football players for the week. We hope you enjoy it.
Hot

Fred Jackson – Fred Jackson is on the fantasy HOT list for the second week in a row. His first week performance was everything the Bills could have asked for. Jackson had a touchdown and a combined 140 yards rushing and receiving. If the passing game picks it up, Fred Jackson’s numbers could be even better.

Percy Harvin – The young rookie is becoming a Favre favorite, he will receive carries out of the backfield and will see the ball come his way 6-8 times in the passing game. If you are in a league that rewards return yards, Harvin becomes even more valuable.

JaMarcus Russell – It looks like the big fella is finally coming around. His throws were on target but his receivers just couldn’t hang onto the ball. This week Oakland goes into KC and KC’s defense is not in the same league as the Chargers. You can expect big things from Mr. Russell.

Mark Bradley – If Matt Cassel is ready to in week two, the biggest benefactor could be Mark Bradley. Nnamdi Asomugha will, most assuredly defend the Chiefs number one WR, Dwayne Bowe. Asomugha is the best shutdown WR in the league right now, so much so that QBs refuse to throw in his general direction. Bradley will be targeted lots in this Sunday.

Earl Bennett – If Jay Cutler decides to throw the ball to his own teammates this week Earl Bennett will see the majority of those passes.

Not

Larry Johnson – LJ had a tough go last week against the Ravens and with Richard Seymour stuffing holes for the Raiders D, this could be another down week for Larry Johnson. Keep in mind other “experts” are predicting big things, if you are in a deep league play Johnson but if you have two solid RBs let Johnson sit this one out until he proves he still has the legs.

Steven Jackson – Jackson is another RB the so-called experts are high on but the hapless Rams are facing the Redskins who were able to shut down the Giants combo of Brandon Jacobs and Ahmad Bradshaw who run behind a much more formidable offensive line.

Chad Ochocinco – Chad Ochocinco is promising a Lambeau Leap this weekend versus the Green Bay Packers. Attention Chad, you have to make it into the end zone before you can do the leap. The Charles Woodson matchup will be too much for Ochocino to overcome this Sunday.

Hines Ward – Ward had a strong game week 1 and he’ll see extra coverage in week 2. The Bears will focus in on Ward this week.

Ben Roethlisberger – Ben Roethlisberger had a huge game last week but the Titans exposed some glary deficiencies in the Steelers run game. This will allow the Bears to put more focus on defending the pass.
