Canada-USA Gold Medal Hockey Game
It’s the biggest hockey game in 8 years; Canada faces the USA for the 2010 Olympic Gold Medal. The Americans will be looking to return the favor to the Canadians who won the Olympic Gold on American ice in 2002.

But the Canada-US rivalry has become the something to behold, the nervous little brother wanting to always show he’s as good as the domineering bigger brother. Hockey for Canadians is part of the cultural Identity, in the US it’s something you do if you aren’t good at football or baseball or Basketball.
Today’s game will mean a lot more to the Canadians, win or lose the countries heart will be pulled. In the US not so much.
I like the Canadians, ever since their loss to the US they have been a different team. I hate the Cliché but I’ll use it anyways, “sometimes a good team needs a loss to wake them up” and I think the loss to the Americans was just that loss.
