BCS Championship Odds to Win
The 2009 NCAA Football Season is less than 48 hours away but Sportsbook.com has had their BCS Odds up for a while, if you haven’t already placed your future bets on the BCS Championship there is no better time than right now.
The Tim Tebow led Florida Gators are an impressive 2/1 favorite. To be 2/1 this early in the season says a lot about the bookmaker’s confidence in the Gators. The Texas Longhorns are next in line at 9/2; the Longhorns’ QB Colt McCoy will challenge Tebow for the Heisman Trophy all season long.
The Oklahoma Sooners, who are looking for revenge after an embarrassing loss to Florida in the BCS game, are listed at 6/1 and the USC Trojans are posted at 7/1 odds to win the BCS. The Trojans will go with rookie Matt Barkley under center, Barkley will be playing his first college game ever after winning the starting in camp.
And Perennial contenders Ohio State round out the top five, Ohio State is listed at 12/1 odds to win the BCS Championship.
