2009 NFL Regular Season Wins – Baltimore Ravens
Over 8½ regular season wins -150
Under 8½ regular season wins +130

Ethan Cade – The Ravens lost a couple of key players from their defense but they still have Ed Reed and Ray Lewis; 9 wins is possible but I wouldn’t bank on it.

2009 NFL Regular Season Wins – Buffalo Bills
Over 7½ regular season wins -120
Under 7½ regular season wins +100

Bill McTavish – The Terrell Owens show comes to Buffalo; he will improve the offense but the Bills will be without Marshawn Lynch for the first 3 games. This is another number that is too close to call.

2009 NFL Regular Season Wins – Cincinnati Bengals
Over 7½ regular season wins +120
Under 7½ regular season wins -140

Ethan Cade – The Bengals have Carson Palmer back but he won’t be enough to carry the sad-sack Bengals to 8 wins.

2009 NFL Regular Season Wins – Cleveland Browns
Over 6½ regular season wins +115
Under 6½ regular season wins -135

Bill McTavish – The Browns QB situation is still up in the air but the defense is greatly improved. The Browns should grind out 7+ ugly wins this season.

2009 NFL Regular Season Wins – Denver Broncos
Over 7 regular season wins +150
Under 7 regular season wins -170

Bill McTavish – There will be only one winning team in the AFC West this season and it won’t be the Broncos. Will four games against the Raiders and Chiefs be enough to push them to 8 wins? I don’t think so.

2009 NFL Regular Season Wins – Houston Texans
Over 8½ regular season wins +125
Under 8½ regular season wins -145

Ethan Cade – This is a make or break year for Coach Gary Kubiak. The defense is solid, the offense has improved and nine wins is possible but just barely.

2009 NFL Regular Season Wins – Indianapolis Colts
Over 10 regular season wins -160
Under 10 regular season wins +140

Bill McTavish – It is what it is and the Colts are the Colts, they have a new coach but the same Peyton Manning. If Anthony Gonzalez holds on to the ball and the Addai/Brown combo can rush the ball 11 wins will be all but assured.

2009 NFL Regular Season Wins – Jacksonville Jaguars
Over 8 regular season wins -140
Under 8 regular season wins +120

Ethan Cade – The AFC South is a tough division, the Jags are predicted to finish with an 8-8 record and finish last in the South. I don’t think both will happen and finishing last is more likely than 8 wins.

2009 NFL Regular Season Wins – Kansas City Chiefs
Over 6 regular season wins -125
Under 6 regular season wins +105

Bill McTavish – Matt Cassel is hurt and the Chiefs just fired their offensive coordinator. 2009 doesn’t look good for the Chiefs but under 6 wins looks good to me.

2009 NFL Regular Season Wins – Miami Dolphins
Over 7 regular season wins -130
Under 7 regular season wins +110

Bill McTavish – The Dolphins will not win the division this year but they will rack up enough wins to compete for a wildcard spot. Expect 8 wins from the Fish in 2009.

2009 NFL Regular Season Wins – New England Patriots
Over 11½ regular season wins -145
Under 11½ regular season wins +125

Ethan Cade – If Tom Brady is 100% the Patriots can be inked for 13 wins. If he takes a few more hits like those that Albert Haynesworth delivered in the Redskins game, the Pats could be on the outside looking in as Andrew Walter is no Matt Cassel.

2009 NFL Regular Season Wins – New York Jets
Over 7 regular season wins -135
Under 7 regular season wins +115

Bill McTavish – The Jets will go with Mark Sanchez from week one. The Jets have a tough schedule, a tough division and a rookie quarterback which makes it is hard for me to back them for anything significant this season.

2009 NFL Regular Season Wins – Oakland Raiders
Over 6 regular season wins +105
Under 6 regular season wins -125

Ethan Cade – Tom Cable may not make it through the season as the Oakland circus continues. Under 6 wins seems like a sure thing, unless JaMarcus Russell and Run DMC have breakout seasons.

2009 NFL Regular Season Wins – Pittsburgh Steelers
Over 10½ regular season wins -125
Under 10½ regular season wins +105

Ethan Cade – The defending champion Steelers are still the class of the AFC North. The only thing holding them back from 11 wins would be a Big Ben injury. His Achilles is fine.

2009 NFL Regular Season Wins – Tennessee Titans
Over 9½ regular season wins +165
Under 9½ regular season wins -195

Bill McTavish – The early money is heavily behind the under 9½ wins and I can’t say I’d blame them. The Titans have lots their main run stopper, Albert Haynesworth and it might be too much to ask Kerry Collins to put together a repeat of his exceptional 2008 season.
